Annie Kilpatrick, MA LMHCA
Welcome! Taking that initial step to start therapy can feel daunting, but I am here to support you.
Counseling Approach and Outlook:
I love working with teens and adults addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-harm. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and based on individual needs. As a practitioner who has experienced my own healing in physical and mental health, a holistic approach with trauma informed care are key parts of my work. My goal is to create a safe space for teens to explore their identity and navigate strong emotions and giving adults a non judgmental space to express needs and begin their healing journey.
My approach is eclectic, tailored to individual needs and personalities. I incorporate trauma therapy such as Lifespan Integration, but may also use CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and talk therapy into my practice for a comprehensive approach.
About me:
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Although I am done with academics for the time being, I never plan to stop learning and growing in knowledge- especially with all that I learn from clients and their own healing journies.
I live in the Seattle area with my husband and our mini schnoodle (who might like to join in our sessions if clients are comfortable!). In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with close friends and family, and trying new restaurants.
I hope to connect with you soon!
