Jenna Meyers, Counseling Intern

As a counseling intern with a background in family advocacy and support, I bring a compassionate and collaborative approach to working with individuals, couples, and families. My style is down-to-earth and relational and shaped by Gestalt Therapy and Systems Theory. I believe growth happens when we become more aware of how we’re showing up- in our thoughts, our feelings, and our relationships. My work centers around both personal responsibility and the impact of the bigger systems we're a part of- our unique families, culture, and community.

As a parent of a child with a disability, I understand firsthand how caregiving can be both beautiful and overwhelming. So often, we pour ourselves into advocating for and supporting our children that we begin to lose sight of ourselves in the process. Systems can feel broken, and finding resources and genuine community can be exhausting and lonely.

This experience has deepened my capacity to truly listen and affirm others, especially those facing similar challenges. I’m passionate about supporting caregivers, women, and families navigating complex dynamics, but I also acknowledge that each person’s story is unique—and I’m here to honor and support yours, whatever it may look like. My approach centers on helping you reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and move forward with compassion.

We are beautifully complex human beings, constantly evolving, growing, and learning to make sense of our stories. It’s an honor to walk alongside you in that process,  through whatever you're facing. No matter where you are at, I am committed to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to move toward the change you are seeking.
